Music has always been a catalyst for social change. B. Lilly's latest single, "Dear America" featuring Opal Staples, was written in during his senior year at Lawrence University and released at the end of Black History Month. His experiences as a young black man, along with the murders of so many of our brothers and sisters inspired the lyrics of this song. This song is for them.
