With a sound that has been dubbed "a refreshing fusion of rhythm and blues, gospel, jazz and hip hop" and the stage presence of music legends, B. Lilly sings, writes and performs from his soul. Born and raised on Chicago's west side, he discovered his love for music at Greater St. John Bible Church where he grew up enjoying the band and choir. At 13, he channeled his love into learning to play the piano; then. at Chicago's Providence St. Mel High School, he sparked his singing talent when he played the role of Tony in a production of "Westside Story."
